Henley, Lotterhos & Henley, PLLC was founded by William Saunders Henley, the grandfather of many of the Firm’sattorneys, in the 1920s in Hazlehurst, Mississippi. The Firm opened an officein Jackson, Mississippi, in the 1930s. It became a professional limitedliability company in 1995. The Firm continues to have offices in Jackson,Mississippi and Hazlehurst, Mississippi. The following is a short biography oneach of the Firm's eleven (11) attorneys:

 

HARRIS B. HENLEY, JR.

Biography: Born February 26, 1953.Graduated from University of Mississippi in 1975 with Bachelor of Sciencedegree in Mathematics. Graduated from University of Mississippi School of Lawin 1978 with Juris Doctorate. Phi Delta Phi. Member of Mississippi Bar Association,Copiah County Bar Association, Hinds County Bar Association, American BarAssociation, and Commercial Law League of America. Practice areas includecommercial law, collection, and business law.

JOHN H. HENLEY

Biography: Born June 22, 1957.Graduated from University of Mississippi in 1978 with Bachelor of Arts degreein Accountancy. Graduated from University of Mississippi School of Law in 1981with Juris Doctorate. Obtained Master of Laws degree in Taxation fromUniversity of Florida School of Law in 1983. Member of Mississippi BarAssociation. Practice areas include commercial, wills and trust drafting,taxation, government, contracts, and corporations.

 

C. PATTON HENLEY

Biography: Born March 30, 1959.Graduated from University of Mississippi in 1981 with Bachelor of Arts degreein Banking and Finance. Graduated from University of Mississippi School of Lawin 1983 with Juris Doctorate. Member of Mississippi Bar Association. Practiceareas include commercial law and collection.

 

ROSS E. HENLEY

Biography: Born August 31, 1962.Graduated magna cum laude from University of Mississippi in 1984 with Bachelorof Business Administration degree in Economics. Graduated from University ofMississippi School of Law in 1986 with Juris Doctorate. Phi Kappa Phi, BetaGamma Sigma (President 1983-1984), Phi Delta Phi. University of Mississippi LawJournal, 1985-1986. Member of Mississippi Bar Association. Practice areasinclude commercial law, creditor bankruptcy, and collection.

 

DENNIS S. PETERS

Biography: Born July 26, 1945.Graduated from Mississippi College in 1972 with Bachelor of Science degree.Graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in 1979 with Juris Doctorate.Recipient of American Jurisprudence Award, Trial Practice, 1979. Member ofMississippi Bar Association, Hinds County Bar Association, Federal Bar Association,American Bar Association, Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, DefenseResearch Institute, and Commercial Law League of America. Sergeant (E5), UnitedStates Army, 1966-1969. Practice areas include insurance defense law, workerscompensation law, banking law, commercial law, and tribal law.

 

DUSTIN M. SEANOR

Biography: Graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Minor in Russian Language in 2008; Received Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2011. Member of the Mississippi Bar Association and the Capitol Area Bar Association. Dustin lives in the Fondren area of Jackson with his wife, Christina and their daughter, Annie. His practice areas include commercial law, insurance subrogation and collections.
